A solar collector (module) 46” x 46” (117 cm x 117 cm) can be made by incorporating 3 PYROPEG thermal solar cells connected in series. Each cell is made from durable weather resistant galvanized steel. A special flat black paint (mate) is used to cover the surface to increase heat absorption property. Each cell can be individually removed from the collector. The cell units need to be enclosed, insulated and covered either by glass or Plexiglas. The enclosure should be made of heavy gauge galvanized steel sheet metal for added strength. Two modules can be mounted on a 48” x 96” conventional frame.
